For Young Disabled People

The Norwich Union shine:awards aim to cater for children of all abilities, so an adapted version of the scheme is included at all levels for young disabled people with disabilities.

It provides advice and guidance to enable teachers to adapt the activities to enable all young people to participate in the Norwich Union shine:awards.

A grading table has been developed which you should view to identify which grade description best fits the needs of the individual child. If the impairment is not listed then pick the closest description or one that may have a similar affect on participation. When calculating the awards the grade number will automatically be taken into account by the software.
